Mark Everson

Mark was born and raised in Oakland, California and began learning the guitar

under the guidance of Carlos Reyes, a Paraguayan classical guitarist and harpist.

After studying with Mr. Reyes, Mark's interest turned toward Flamenco guitar, such

as performed by Sabicas, Juan Serrano, Louis Maravilla, Mario Escudero and others.

At an early age, Mark was performing with Flamenco Dance groups in the Oakland -

San Francisco area.  He has also toured Canada performing flamenco and other

musical interests.

Upon moving to Texas, Mark continued to perform with other flamenco artists such as

Maria Del Espadin, Gabriella Y Sus Gitanas, Bianca Antonia with Flamenca Andaluz, and

his own group, Flamenco Fenomeno.

Mark is very adept at many musical styles including light and classic rock,

Western & Western Swing, Country, Bluegrass, Blues, and Classical & Nuevo Flamenco.

Mark is also a very accomplished multi-instrumentalist who also performs on:

banjo, fiddle, mandolin, pedal steel guitar and bass guitar.
