Rob Parks started his music career at the age of seven when he first started with Drum lessons. His instructor at the time helped to transform him from a pure drum set player to a full on percussionist ranging from timpani to all mallet instruments. Rob would go on to win numerous awards in all percussion in the American Guild of Music regional and national competitions. Continuing his percussion career into high school, Rob was recruited into the Eastside Fury percussion ensemble where he helped them win the 2000 WGI Independent ‘A’ World Championship.
After graduating High school, Rob started to teach privately and began working with many high school marching bands as an instructor for both the drumline and pit. While Rob wasn’t teaching, he would play with numerous bands around the Midwest, as well as working as a session drummer at a local recording studio.
